I’ve had Stevie Wonder’s song Very Superstitious stuck in my head all weekend, you know, the one that goes Very Superstitious, Writing’s on the wall… only I’ve been singing it, Very Jungalicious…drawings on the wall. And I’m even humming it to myself now, as I write this post, and all of the sudden it all makes perfect sense.
See, I’ve had the date *Nov. 2nd* marked on my calendar for over six months now. It’s the scheduled launch date for my wallpaper line with Hygge & West, and it’s finally here. After months of drawing, designing, editing, back and forth with Aimee and Christiana (the amazing ladies behind H&W), picking colors and colorways, and flying up to SF to help style and shoot the papers, 22 (yes TWENTY TWO!) wallpapers are now available to choose from, and holy smokes, are they Very Jungalicious…
One of the reasons I was over-the-moon excited to work with H&W was the paper quality. I’ve used their papers in several design projects and love that they’re screen-printed by hand in the U.S.. They also really get color and have great metallic options. The first time I saw and then touched my wallpapers I was like “YES!!” a serious dreams do come true kinda moment.
And if you are feeling a little under the whether, Vitamin C is sure to give you a little boost!
Here we have Fez. Fez is Cosmic Desert’s sexy sister. They don’t mind hanging in the same room together, either.
And then there’s Nana. This colorway makes my heart sing, it’s a good ol’ fashion botanicals on blush situation that I think will make any room look positively perfect, in the most casual, I’m not trying too hard kinda way. I want to put this one EVERYWHERE, but I kinda wanna put them all everywhere– dilemmas dilemmas.
