I was almost three months pregnant with Ida when Jason proposed to me. We had been together for seven years, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if it was ever going to happen. Part of me figured that we’d grow old together and he’d still be introducing me as his ‘lady friend’ when we were seventy five. But alas, no. He proposed in his own very sweet and casual way and then we had three months to plan a day that I had been dreaming about since I was a little girl. Both of us with very big families, we got married in Elysian Park one overcast evening in March nearly three years ago and it was one of the best days of my life.
The thing that I love about being a designer is that I get the chance to be a part of (even in some small way) peoples’ lives, and hopefully make their lives a little bit more beautiful. And the thought of being included in a day that could be one of the best days of someone’s life? Well, that just makes my heart go pitter-patter. That is why I got excited when the opportunity came up to work with Wedding Paper Divas on my own wedding stationery collection.
The collection is inspired by some of my favorite things: love, plants and flowers.
The above suite was born out of my Blooms On Black Series on Instagram. It’s amazing how leftovers from a photoshoot have now inspired wedding invitations!

Pamela, how are you??? On that shelf, there is a Hoya kerrii, which is shaped like a heart leaf, as well as a Hoya obovata, which is a smaller kind. When it comes to care, the kerrii is treated in the same manner as the obovata that I describe in the post. I really hope that helps!
