More and more, I’m loving furniture made from natural woods and fibers. Materials like rattan, bamboo and cane are giving me all the feels and making me somehow feel more connected to the earth, the same way that eating raw foods as opposed to processed foods can. Am I being crazy?
A cane insert on a piece of furniture works in spaces modern, boho and rustic, and I think that it has a timeless quality that feels simultaneously laid back and chic. And, it’s also pretty obvious that cane pairs so well with plants in the home.

Absolutely not crazy. I have a lovely Thonet bentwood rocker which was one of the first gifts my late husband gave to me in 1976 Still rocking it!

Yep, me too..for awhile now I’ve been craving old natural furniture & items & solid wood antiques more & more. In fact, I just brought home a worn bamboo/rattan chair from the restore that was calling to me & I almost took home a slightly damaged cane backed chair (apparently, they are not hard to repair). And, I want to get rid of so much painted furniture & flat box assemble it yourself cheap furniture.
