The New Tropical

The jungalow vibe is a very tropical one already, but add some vintage parrot paintings to the mix and all of the sudden the vibe feels very ‘new tropical’ doesn’t it? Don’t you want to sip a mojito together on that sofa?

There are lots of patterns in the mix here, but it all works because all of the patterns are so different from each other that they don’t compete. The red/orange highlights in the parrot paintings ‘speak’ to the warm hues in the sofa and rug, and it’s all grounded by my Aja wallpaper in khaki which is oh so jungalicious.
