Has anyone else noticed all the Jungalicious goodness coming out of Australia lately? I love all of this bedding, but am also feeling very inspired by the styling. I love the low-to-the-ground bed vibes, the painted shiplap walls, and these fun botanical prints offset by plants in baskets and mid-century-inspired planters. Very jungalicous, huh? As we get ready to turn our garages into a studio ‘apartment’, I can picture the ‘bedroom’ area looking like this. It’s relaxed and still feels chic.
All of these styles can be found at Adairs.com. It doesn’t look like they ship to the U.S. so for those of use that are in The States, gleaning inspo from these well-styled images will have to suffice for now. Hope you all are having a great week so far!

These sorts of walls are called ‘VJ walls’ in Australia, short for vertical joint. Very common in Queenslander and Federation homes. They have a tongue and groove join, so similar to shiplap probably but not the same. Quite expensive to install due to the T&G join. There you go, some (potentially useless) Australian architecture trivia for you :)
Hi Cat, they are so beautiful! It’s my dream to live in an old QLDer, I rented one with my bf when I was younger. Now I live on the GC and there are almost none here… Love the special woodwork and all the details… Oh and I went to adairs yesterday and got one of those sheet sets on sale ;-)

oooh, love these! We have our mattress on the ground mostly cause I was waiting for the right bed to come up, but now I love it there. Coincidentally we also have painted paneling… so all I need is some jungalicious bedding :)
