Our new double oven arrived last week, completing our Café suite of appliances and the kitchen refresh that we began at the beginning of this year. These new appliances have not only updated the look of our kitchen, but they have honestly changed the way we feel about cooking, which in turn has made in impact on our whole quality of life. I know that may sound extra, but it’s no joke. I am truly inspired to cook more, experiment and try new things in the kitchen.
One of the things that’s a real game changer for me is the griddle. I’ve never had one before (in fact I could only remember the Italian name for it, not the English one, because when I lived in Italy I often ordered food, like panini, from the “piastra”). Last night I toasted pretzel bread on it for our veggie dogs. We’re excited to use it for pancakes, and I’m especially looking forward to bringing back my favorite panini recipes from when I lived over there: pesto, mozzarella and tomato anyone? Or for those of you with a sweet tooth, how about strawberry, mascarpone and nutella? Omg.
Another thing I love about this stove so far is that the front, left burner is a double burner and it cooks quickly and thoroughly. I can boil water for pasta in half the time it took on my old stove. We eat a lot of pasta around here, so that’s a great time saver.
But y’all know I’m not a food blogger, so as much as I love food and I’m truly enjoying all the great functionalities of the appliances, the LOOK of the appliances really resonates with me. HOW beautiful is this oven?!? The Brushed Copper hardware is truly the crown on top, too. Even matches with my tea kettle from the flea market :D.
Now, when I look at my kitchen, I feel like the design is actually complete. Every piece in here feels thoughtful and intentional. Everything feels personal, modern but also the right amount of quirk and rustic jungaliciousness. It’s simultaneously chic and totally down home. My vibe ;) The kitchen is super functional and really is encouraging us to have some fun. A big thank you to Café Appliances for helping us to make our kitchen feel #DistinctByDesign and just like us.

How about moving the microwave to a nearby space – laundry room? We took ours off the kitchen counter and it made a world of difference. Love your new appliance – it’s a jewel!
Beautiful
I love that green backsplash tile. I also love how that beautiful double oven has knobs that go so well with the rest of that pretty kitchen.
I love the puppy. She too cute. Your kitchen is also very attractive.
Gorgeous! My only issue is no vent for the stovetop.
Hi there,
What grout color did you use between the tile?
Thanks
Your updated Kitchen looks great! I really like the color and look of the backsplash. I love cats and your black cat looks really cute! I just had my Kitchen renovated recently and I agree that having a nice Kitchen makes you want to do more cooking and enjoy cooking.
I love EVERYTHING, especially the natural wood floating shelves. Just purrfect LOL.
The rug! Where can I get a rug like that?
beautiful kitchen idea.It looks really cute.
I would LOVE to know what that paint color is!!
Hello! I have a couple of quick questions. Are the countertops Carrara marble? And what color grout did you use? It’s hard to see if it’s white or grey. Looking forward to hearing from you!
This updated kitchen looks really well organized. Love the backsplash! Very neatly done.
Gorgeous! I love that you do not have a hood over the stove. IMO they are a waste of space, money, and they’re ugly to boot. To actually work, they need to be low, huge, and I installed by someone who knows what they’re doing. I’d rather have art in my kitchen.
It looks very beautiful and modern.
This is very nice kitchen idea and i was wondering same on my house but lack of budget could not complete my dream
I was considering implementing this lovely kitchen idea in my own home, but a lack of funds prevented me from realizing my dream.
i installed new drawers for my kitchen its beautiful.
i have been inspired from here and installed new drawers and other kitchen things and looks more beautiful now than before.
