My family and I spent some time at one of our local parks over the weekend. There was a gigantic Eucalyptus tree near the playground that had shed it’s bark and there were large bark piles on the park floor. I was absolutely stunned the beauty: the shapes (so modern!) the colors (those blues and purples!) and the patterns (where were those stripes coming from!?!?). And while I have long since admired the beauty of Eucalyptus leaves, seeds, pods and the healing properties of the tree (for example, one of our new wallpapers pays homage to the Eucalytpus) this was the first time I really stopped to admire the bark. I was captivated.
Me being the urban forager that I am, I stuck some pieces of the bark into my purse and brought it home.
Ida and I began playing with it, painting the pieces with paint pens.
We painted backgrounds for the bark, and then glues the painted bark pieces to the paper to create a collage.
Such a fun, easy, and affordable art project that we both had a ton of fun with!
Love this idea, nature is the best inspiration !
Where can I get those dining chairs in one of the above pics?
Ha! Kindred spirits Justina!
When I walked my dog today, I brought home a branch from a dying Eucalyptus tree with amazing smallish, round, gum nuts.
Truth be told, I dragged my partner along today, because I’ve been trying to get a branch with a long enough stem, so I can put it in a vessel on the dining room table and…I have one now, because he’s taller than me and the branchwas really high (I’m not short either)!
Yaaay! for Aussie Eucalyptus!! We have one called “Scribbly Bark”. Yes, it looks like someone scribbled suiggles on it…little insects lay eggs under the bark and when they hatch, they make the marks. They’re so, so beautiful!
I actually thought of YOU on my dog walk (AKA: Scruffy Adventure) yesterday, because we came home with a succulent leaf to strike. :)

I really like this concept, since nature really is the finest source of ideas.
Today, when I took my dog for a walk, I carried home a branch from a dying Eucalyptus tree that was covered in small, round gum nuts.
Honestly, I dragged my companion along today because I’ve been looking for a branch with a long enough stem so I can place it in a vase on the dining room table, and now I have one because he’s taller than me and the branch was quite high
The video game was released around 2015 and included sixty different levels. An instant later, the total was 90 levels.

The phrase “chat is core ball game” is not a commonly used phrase, so it is difficult to say exactly what it means. However, based on my knowledge, it seems that the phrase may be used to describe the importance of communication in sports. In many sports, communication between teammates is essential for success. Players need to be able to communicate effectively in order to coordinate their movements, strategize, and make adjustments during the game.
