I wanted to take a minute to give thanks to you, our community, for the incredible support of Jungalow this year. This is our third year as an online shop. I jumped into the world of retail with no real e-comm experience, although my two years working at Express in high school, and the four years I owned a tiny boutique with my sis when we lived in Italy gave me some retail experience, this was a whole new bag! I can say that this year really challenged me and the team in so many ways, but you have been there every step of the way, cheering us on, visiting, shopping, “hearting,” leaving us heart-warming reviews and comments, sharing on social and helping us to plant 48,000 trees along the way. We are so grateful. I am so grateful.I have learned so, SO much over the past three years. And to finish off this incredibly difficult year with a House Beautiful Magazine cover feature, to be on their list of Best Home Stores, and to be named “Most Joyful shop” is truly mind-blowing. I never would have imagined that this little blog that I started nearly eleven years ago would become the fertile soil from which so much jungaliciousness would grow! My heart swells with gratitude.
So thank you, thanks to all of you who show up for us, thanks to my seriously hard-working, dedicated and magical team of eight women, thank you to our partners, like Loloi (it’s our #JustinaXLoloi collab that’s featured on the cover!) and thank you to House Beautiful Magazine — who was the first major shelter magazine to highlight my work, and continues to ride for us! Big hugs to all and I hope you have a happy, healthy holiday weekend.
