$12 Wedding Decor
I’m continuing to do little trials at home for DIY wedding decor ideas (thanks for all of your kind insights about it yesterday, BTW–super helpful– I promise not to take on *too* much) but I ordered some streamers in my marigold/yellow/gray shades as well as some paper lanterns and LED lights. There are several areas that I plan to decorate like this. Kinda smitten– and best of all– this whole plan fits REALLY nicely into ma budget. Oh and I put yesterday’s boutonnieres into last year’s painted beakers and they look pretty effing cute. Happy Thursdsay y’all!!

Love this! Sorta want to do those sunny streamers in my window now just to beat the winter blahs here in MI!
I left mine up too! He he. It’s so pretty and festive. Thanks Elizabeth!
I had to comment on this post too! You’re like wonder women- trying out streamer and lantern arrangements at home?? Very prepared!
Ha! Thanks, well, I’m one of those people who has try try stuff out first!
These are absolutely beautiful! As is the rest of your blog – I just came over from Old Brand New and I’m so glad I did.
At this point you likely have more DIY decoration suggestions than you can use, but I’ll recommend another: tassel garlands. My boyfriend and I made a huppah for our friends’ wedding a few months ago and created a canopy out of strands of homemade tissue paper tassels. It turned out really well, the wedding was outside and the tassels made a lovely swishy, leaf-like sound in the breeze, and all in only cost about $1 per tassel. You can see photos of the huppah here – they even had a similar color scheme at their wedding!
I love everything you’ve done here. I wish I could use my LED light bars to achieve a similar effect.
I’m delighted that I have noticed this weblog. I makes use of LED light bars at my home. It has really superlative features. I like it very much.
