I found this little cabinet on my block– it had been discarded along with a mattress and a few other lonely pieces of furniture when someone moved homes. I immediately loved the lines of the piece and decided to upcycle it. I ended up re-upholstering the piece with some fun, floral fabric. See the full story (with more pics), on Design*Sponge. Thank you Design Sponge for including me in your ever-inspiring blog this AM!

Hi Vicki!
Thanks for stopping by the Compai Blog! I got the fabric in Downtown LA at Michael Levine. (http://www.lowpricefabric.com/)It’s a discount fabric market in the Fashion District. When I get to my Offish later on today I’ll see if I can figure out who designed the fabric.
