In the Jewish tradition, wedding ceremonies take place under a canopy called a Chuppah. Now that I’m planning my wedding, I’m thinking about taking this Chuppah thing to a whole new level. I’d love to get married under a huge hippie tent covered in wondrous worldly textiles. However, I fear that may take my wedding budget somewhere other-wolrdly so I’m thinking about DIY ways to built a tent or canopy– from lights, fabrics, flowers and/or ribbons–that can create the intimate, magical affect I crave while staying inside my down-to-earth budget. Here are some tented images that inspire…
Scarf Tent
Circus Style Tent from the Glam camping Co. (I kinda just want this one for my yard, anyway)
White Voile Canopy with lights
Moroccan Style Pink and red tent
Worldly textile hippie tent I can’t afford
Pillow filled tent with lights (va pinterest, if anyone knows actual source LMK)
Streamers canopy from Our Labor of Love via here

Love these. I need to tent/fort one of my rooms. You seem to have a lot of gorgeous blankets – what if your friends brought and loaned you theirs for the day? Could be really cool.

You could rent a parachute for very cheap. There is a gorgeous picture on pinterest of this. Might not be colorful enough for you though!

What is the quote for about 500 guests? One of the website tents for wedding where I get some information about this. Please help me if you provide this type of services.

Unquestionably imagine that that you said. Your favorite reason
appeared to be on the internet the simplest factor to be mindful of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed whilst other folks think about issues that they plainly do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the highest as
well as outlined out the whole thing with no need side effect , folks can take
a signal. Will probably be again to get more. Thanks

I am wondering if on Craigslist in the Barter section you may find someone with big canopies or tents that you can work out something with I had our wedding in an old Gothic library on Campus (the old books were so cool) But I bought tons of tulle to make huge bows for the chairs. Also years ago Pier One use to have tulle canopies fairly cheap, less than $100 or mosquito netting. I love the look, you may find also a seamstress or a person who sews well to make one, stitching several together. I suppose it all depends on if its just a small gathering or a big wedding. But I wish you all the luck and I am sure it will be beautiful.
