Having worked in both fashion and interiors, I feel like if one has a defined style, it translates seamlessly from how a person dresses, to how a person’s home looks. I dress colorfully and patternfully ;) , with lots of vintage and thrifted items with designer, handmade and worldly pieces sprinkled in here and there, I can often look a little messy, I love a statement piece and, well, I can tend towards the wild.
That is also exactly how I would describe the Jungalow.
Here are three looks translated from wall to wear— I’ve paired three sweet-as-can-be wallpaper looks with some stuff I’m coveting of late– That Rachel Pally number up top is mighty tempting, and I’ve never met a ball locket I didn’t like. As for the baby sleep sack–well, if I wasn’t already a tree hugger, as soon as Ida was wearing that thing, I’d certainly become one.
Hehe.
These wallpaper designs available from Wallpapered.com are playful ways to dress up walls. I love this old map wallpaper, and they also offer personalized World Map Wallpapers – by zip code–so you could have wallpaper of a map of your own neighborhood. I could picture the Tree wallpaper in a quirky dining room with a window seat, yes? And those pretty yellow and grey florals would have made the perfect backdrop to a photobooth at my wedding. They also have some great wall murals and other customized wallpaper options–to give your house your own flava.
