At times when I’m getting dressed the in morning I start with a really simple outfit (like jeans and a t-shirt) and then I just keep on piling things on top until I achieve a look that’s wild enough for my mood. I started here with jeans and a T–then I added a vintage Hmong apron skirt (on some folks it may be a wrap-around but it doesn’t cover my tush! ha!) and layered on three necklaces from 31 Bits (see yesterday’s post to read more about why I love them so). I paired it with my favorite purse of the moment–a little tasseled ikat numbered I picked up at Squaresville.(Shoes are from Toast from last year)

Justina! I do the exact same thing….I keep piling and piling Don’t know why I do. Though I’m more of a solids person since I’ve piled on a few pounds. I’m afraid of patterns. You do patterns very well. I love have boots too.

don’t be afraid of pattern!! It’s too much fun! (I match solids with pattern–notice the top is solid ;)
