There was SO MUCH amazing work done in my styling class on skillshare that’s it’s going to take me a few days if not more to share all of my favorite projects (at the end of the day more than FIVE HUNDRED students were in the course–crazy!) . So the bulk of this week I will be sharing a whole slew of really inspiring Before and Afters. This first one is from photogrpher Joanne Edmonds. She had a lot of great stuff to work with, but the way that she restyled her console really helped to add balance and I just love her color palette of black, white, browns and pops of yellow.
I love this bed makeover by designer + stylist + creative, Quintel Noel Gwinn. I think that is is the perfect example of how a little bit of color and pattern can go a long way. I love how hew color choices are not matchy-matchy but go effortlessly together–and love what the bed spread does to make the room look fun, cozy and eclectic.
It didn’t hurt that The Sad Eyed Girl had an insanely cool bookshelf/room divider to begin with–but after styling the shelf and adding those hanging plants as curtains!?! I mean..wow. What a difference.
This B+A makes it pretty clear that Annton Beate Schmidt of Tiny Fish Bowl Collection has an amazing eye for color. Her after photo almost looks like a painting to me and the texture and ‘life’ that are present look relaxing, real and just very, very pretty.
I just love how Dana M‘s bedroom came out. The updated bedside table, the pops of purple and pink, the snake plant, the botanicals, and the blingy pedestal lamp. It’s really working.
Mina Brinkey, the blogger behind Bohemian Vintage clearly has an amazing eye–and lots of fun accessories to work with in her fun, boho home. But I have to say that I am SO excited by the transformation of her space because now, her coffee table really makes a statement.
So you can see my difficulty here, yes?! SO MANY AMAZING PROJECTS!! And this is only the beginning–there is lots more where this came from. Now that the class is over, I want to give a major shout-out to everyone who particpated–your feedback that has been rolling in has been super helpful, too, so that in case I decide to do a part II, I was be sure to incorporate your constructive feedback. Also, if you missed the class but are still interested in having access to the class materials and seeing how my 8 concepts of interior styling work–you can still sign up and access materials and work on the restyling of you home at your own pace.
I leave tomorrow for Copenhagen, so chances are the next time you hear from me I’ll be in a whole new time zone. Tata for now my friends!
Wow, there are so many beautiful photos here. My favourite addition has to be the dog on the couch though :)
Have a wonderful wonderful time. I am off there in september so maybe you can recommend some places to visit
