You may remember last year I blogged about a mobile artist who made mobiles not just for the littles, yes? Well imagine my surprise when I got an email from that very same guy, Chuck Kubba of Comometalworks, asking if I wanted to collaborate on a mobile. Fun! I designed the shapes and placement and he crafted it–and now they are available in brass, black and green!
Inspired by mid-century modern masters Calder and Matisse, the concept behind my Jungalow Mobile is a different leaf on every branch.
I love the way my brass one dances in the jungalow, slowly changing color and form throughout the day as it plays. The cutout leaf is my favorite. Find out more about our collaboration here.
