Zany & Zaftig with Gap Styld.by

I know. I’ve been holding out on you guys. My little brother is a real hottie, right?  Well believe it or not, in all my years of blogging and styling this is the first time I’ve EVER been asked to put together a male look, so his good looks are finally coming in handy :) Meet my bro Shai. He stopped by the studio last week to help me out with my Gap Styld.by campaign… (Sorry folks, he’s taken!–Happily married to an amazing woman and they have three kids!! #NoJoke.) 

 

We had a blast pretending to be supermodels. Just like old times, only he no longer has a curly duck tail going down his back and I no longer have breasts that bounce–but alas, I digress.  We’re not here to talk about tails or boobs we’re talking fah-shion…so here’s what I’m wearing…

I chose my new absolute favorite staple, the sweater coat. This thing is so comfortable that I’d even sleep in it. Underneath it, I wanted to wear something that would kinda hug my curves (an oversize coat + an oversize dress = no bueno). I also wanted something I could dress up or down and would always be comfortable in so I went with this Ballet dress. It’s has sex appeal but still keeps things kinda mysterious if you know what I mean. It’s always good to keep people guessing a little bit ;)  I accessorized with some booties I’ve been practically living in, and a pretty striped scarf for a pop of pattern.

My bro has on a fun, warm sweater with a pattern that feels kinda boho-holiday-ish, and a comfy flannel. His teal khakis are my new favorite. I want all the men in my life wear these teal khakis.
