I’m excited to announce today’s post and giveaway sponsored by R. Wood Studio Ceramics! I’m in love with R. Wood Studio, not just because each piece is entirely made and painted by hand in Athens, Georgia, but because of the their funky shapes and insanely pretty colors.
The colors are so rich and so studied, that I could use their collections as color swatches for all of my design projects. The tone of each piece–stand alone or together in a collection with other contrasting pieces are beyond.

I had a blast styling and shooting these pieces–each piece is so effortlessly chic, that they make even  banal foods look gourmet.

…and now for the giveaway! The above ‘Baroque’ platter, (16″ and $88.00)  is up for grabs to one lucky reader.
Here’s what you need to do:
First of, you must be a follower of this blog.
Next, just head over to R. Wood Studio and imagine what your kitchen cupboards would look like full of R. Wood goods, like the scallop bowls or perhaps one of their one-of-a-kind pieces.
Then come back here and leave a comment saying which item you’d love to add to your cupboard.
For additional comments, tweet, pin or share the giveaway on facebook and leave a comment here with the URL. You may leave up to 3 comments. The winner will be drawn at random and announced Friday, August 31st.

Please also become a fan of R. Wood Studio on facebook and check out their newly launched and lovely blog, beautyeveryday.

Good Luck!
