I spent the weekend at my mother-in-law’s home in Palm Desert and was enamoured by many of the details she added to her home after having spent the last 19 months living in Abu Dabi and traveling in the Middle East. I already knew Mary had a great eye for design–we had, after all, shopped the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul together last year. One detail that she added to her home that I thought was a great idea to share were her layered antique hand-towels in the guest bathroom. I had never seen this type of towel display before and I loved it–a bit of old-world-charm–mixed with an eastern touch with the strings of beads from the Middle East on the side of the towel bar. The combo is just so pretty. Time to start scouring ebay for vintage linens!
Thanks for the lovely weekend, Mary!
