We are half way through my E-Course Interior Styling: The Fundamentals to Styling Your Space like a Pro and I was going to wait until *after* the course to share my favorite student projects, but there are so many good projects and we are having so much fun that I thought I’d share just a sample of a few of the projects that caught my eye so far.
Creating the syllabus for this class was a challenge because styling comes quite naturally to me. It was a fun and difficult exercise to break it down in such a way that others could become instinctively good at it too. My goal for the course to to have people be able to use a basis of fundamental principles about styling that then they could apply to all different areas in the home. The crazy (and great) news is–I think my plan is working! What do you think? Pretty great B+A’s, yes?

I’m enjoying seeing the pics of what your students are doing. I’m wondering if you’ve considered how to style tables in houses with kids? Do you have any tips for that? I can’t style tables with things that the kids with either swallow (small stones), dump (potted plants, things with sand), break (pretty glassware), or otherwise hurt themselves on (cactus, coral). My kids are pretty well behaved, but they’re also naturally curious and not always very coordinated (things get knocked over easily in the course of play).

I will do a post about this soon–as my baby gets to be walking age soon–this will be an issue for me, too!

Hi Justina, So happy to see Valerie featured here. I’m in your class and I thought there was no way she could improve the before picture. I haven’t gone in to see the after but she nailed it! Love your class. I’m off to do my homework now. As always in life, I am behind.

I’ve been enjoying this so much, I’m hoping to have some time to finish up the last touches tomorrow before I fly out to California for a little bit of sun/family/friends. I am really loving getting a peak into so many creative people’s homes, getting positive feedback from other classmates on the platform, and of course the lectures which are great NEW ideas and REMINDERS for me! Thanks for this class, I hope there will be others with different content at some point in the future as well!

I’m loving this class and telling all of my friends about it! I never thought I would be able to style a space, but it’s only a week and a half in and I LOVE my living area now!

I think the class engagement part is really fun. Not sure when I’ll be doing the class again so I think it’s good that you enrolled so you can have access to all of the class materials–and then when I do offer the course again you can engage with other students!

I’ve subscribed to your site and will watch for updates as to when you’ll teach this class again. I’m redoing a 100 year old house we recently purchased and could use your class for sure!

Now, that you will continue to gain knowledge as you keep reading.
