I’m often told that my style is very ‘California’ and while I’m not sure exactly what that is supposed to mean, I take it as a compliment ;-) It’s nice to feel at home somewhere and I am proud to call Cali home.
In part of my quest to define what is so dang cool about California style, I’ve started a collection of California Cool finds on eBay. From beachwear to stoneware, my California-inspired discoveries are proving to be an eclectic ensemble of totally different styles (kinda like California). Go figure.

My home state is Florida and I’m recently rediscovering it after moving back from Berlin. I like that there are so many parts of Florida that still feel old world.
I went to St. Augustine (founded by Ponce de Leon) just yesterday for some antique-ing adventures and discovered an amazing house downtown that was up for sale (gasp) that was built in 1904. Florida is soft, sleepy, warm and willowy and now I understand why people love it. Growing up it just felt hot and slow..
