I never thought I’d own a rug without a multicolored pattern on it, but as soon as I saw this rug from Lulu and Georgia I had to have it. The shagtastic factor certainly played a role–I’m really feeling the combo of flatweave and shag and the rusty color makes my boho heart sing.
We really needed a new rug in the living room and because we already had a lot going on in there, I wanted something with character, but not too off the wall. This was not an easy decision. I probably spent three or four hours clicking through color and pattern galore until deciding to go with the Emalie rug.
I mean, look at all these rugs!?! And these were just a few of my favorites. The door mat on the bottom, in the middle is a designer collab with Commune. Swoon. Those purple triangles are giving me mild heart-palpitations. If you’re in need of a little underfoot love in your casa, check out Lulu & Georgia.

I really like your shoes (and they’re perfectly matching with the rug – how chic!). Where are they from?
I’m also lookîng for rugs but my husband and I have such dissimilar tastes, it makes the hunt even trickier.
Bises.

oh thanks! the shoes are by Pendleton–they’re from last year though so not sure where to find them now. And I hear you about the taste differences. My husband has just surrendered to the jungalow vibe :D

Wow, 6 years later and your style is still affecting so many of us today. Where is the shelf with drawers from? I know its from a long time ago but I can’t find anything remotely close to that anywhere :(

I appreciate this is a site for writers more than readers, but we do all read SFF so it seems not unreasonable to regularly check in on what other people may be reading around this time and what made them choose it.
