Today I wanna share with you a few of my latest and greatest ‘discoveries’, pieces I’ve tried and loved this year, or seen and coveted.
1. I am totally OBSESSED with the Lotus Wei Infinite Love mist. I use a little bit in the mornings, and keep a bottle with me at the studio. When I feel annoyed, stressed or even just a bit sleepy I spritz myself a few times and feel revitalized–like I’ve taken a little shower in rose petals or something. I’m totally head-over heals for the smell and am totally feeling the luurve.
2. So without getting too graphic, apparently, we were designed to squat while doing numero dos. I’m a believer. I’ve been trying out the Squatty Potty for about a month now and have noticed serious–he-hem improvements. You put it around the toiled and it helps you to squat while pooing. It’s kind of life-changing. Probably one of the best $25 investments ever (and the grossest topic to ever grace this blog…) And if you want to laugh like really, really hard then read the first customer review on the Squatty Potty Amazon page–trust.
3. Ok fellow curly gals. This is my new sh*t. I’ve been using the Pantene Co-Wash for about a month now and for the price, I’ve never found a better shampoo/conditioner situation. It’s a cleansing conditioner that I feel keeps my hair from getting greasy. I put it in while in the shower, it cleans and detangles my hair so I can brush it while it’s wet, then wash it out. It does a pretty decent job of keeping my hair clean, conditioned and keeping the frizz at bay–and for the price?! It’s pretty fro-tastic. It’s the first time a two-in-one has ever worked one this head.
4. Am I the last Birkenstock-wearing, metallic-loving mama on earth to learn about the rose gold Birks?! Gimme, gimme!
5. I just got Emily Henson’s new book, Bohemian Modern and it’s sooo good. Lot’s of great boho inspo from across the pond. You go girl.
6. I love the coral-y color of terracotta, and the way that color contrasts with the greens in plants…, these geometric terracotta planters look both modern and earthy and I’m in.
7. This very pretty plate set is kinda crazy affordable, I saw it at World Market the other day while shopping for the Charity design project and fell in love.
Have a fun-tastic weekend, friends!

I DEFinitely will have to check out that spray! Bathing in rose petals when I need a 2pm nap? I’m down. ;)
And as a fellow curly girl (who now wears her hair straight far too often and is thinking about shakin’ things up), I am excited to check out that co-wash! Thanks for sharing, Justina! :)

Hmmm, no one has commented on the Squatty Potty yet?! That’s the best item here :)
I was just telling my friend about different “potties” in the world that I have experienced (behind the most expensive shops in St. Germain des Pres they still have the old hole-in-the-ground), and how many of the toilets in Europe have raised steps alongside to allow for the healthy squat position. And now, here you’ve shared a version of that. Yi-pee!
That will go on my wish list. Merci.

P.S. I saw it for $40. Did you find one for $25?
Justina says
