It feels like every other time I go to repin a beautiful interior shot to one of my Pinterest boards, I get that “Pssst! Looks like you’ve already saved this Pin!” notification. Does that happen to you too? That was the signal to me that it was time to get off of Pinterest for a minute and look elsewhere for some new design inspo. With the idea of peeking into some amazing homes in my neighborhood, I clicked over to Trulia to see about taking some virtual tours and came across some pretty great (and new!!) design ideas and inspiration.
In this house, they went all turquoise on the ceilings. I mean, can I get a ‘woah!’??
They also painted the inside of that skylight. So good, right?
I may not have chosen red for this balcony, but holy guacamole do I love that green, herringbone tile–and how rad is it used in an outdoor space? Swooning over here…
This shower/tub (from the same home) is so weird and cool isn’t it? I’d love it in a creamy white.
And this outdoor space (designed by Isabelle Dahlin of deKor) is seriously killing me. The inside of the house looks a lot like Emily Henderson’s work…
either she designed it or someone was deeply inspired by her. ;)
And oh what I wouldn’t do to have bones like this to work with!! Oh so very Madmen, right? Really enjoying the desert-y color palette in here too.
So, what say you, did I uncover some interior shots you hadn’t seen before?? Check The Trulia blog for more ideas and inspo, too. For my next Trolling Trulia post, where should we go? Miami? Austin? This is gonna be fun.
This post was created in partnership with Trulia.

I rarely stumble upon beautiful interiors on Trulia (and I check a lot. But maybe everything is newer here(Orange County), so everything tends to be more standard..)
There were several exceptions of course..
One was a house that some architect build for his family. The house itself had such great bones, and such amazing use of light and everything, I can’ forget it until this very day.
Another house was probably built in 20-30 s..great Spanish Revival architecture. But I guess I-5 was built later , and this amazing house found itself so to say literally twenty feet from the highway. Poor homeowners. I didn’t even go to look at it, as not to get sadder..
And some houses of course are very cool because of wonderful greenery that surrounds them. One very little place had a fairy tale feeling to it, because of the magical garden that homeowners put around its perimeter..
The pictures you’ve found are beautiful though. I’ll have to change search options..))

Love this! I must confess I am a fully addicted real estate stalker. I often spy vintage furniture pieces hiding among peoples stuff and wonder if it would be odd to contact them and try to buy it off them? I guess that’s the definition of a vintage vulture ;) Austin offers some pretty good interior stalking material…

Turquoise on the ceilings?? No thanks!
My sister loves looking at homes for sale, but I’ve never seen any like this on Trulia! I’m also from Orange County, so maybe we have a serious problem with exterior/interior design!

Justina, do you happen to remember where you saw the last home you posted…..I am in the process of house hunting in LA and I am looking for either an old Spanish style home or a Mid century. Thanks!
Justina Blakeney says
Hmmm…which home are you referring to? Not sure I remember. So many good Spanish and Mid-Century styled homes around here–it’s gonna be fun!

Hi Justina! Beautiful post – ahh the homes in Los Angeles :). I actually work for Isabelle Dahlin – her warehouse/showroom deKor is in Silverlake and the first image of the backyard is actually her home that she landscaped/designed, and the pool space you posted she landscaped as well! Em Henderson did design the room you so accurately thought was hers and the rug and sofas are by deKor! Also thank you for following us on Instagram! Perhaps you’ll pop by and visit us sometime ;). xxx

Ahhh yes I love Dekor! I popped in often to the Echo Park one. I’ll have to stop by the new Silverlake location soon!

That green tile is amazing!
…I’m shocked at the amount of crimes for that house with all the beautiful landscaping! Almost $2mil and like 30 crimes in the last 8 days? I really must be small town…oh LA and your craziness!!
Yep, def recognized those blue chesterfields from Emily! How funny.
I’m always on trulia looking at homes. what a great idea to really pay attention to design and decorating inspiration!

haha! Yes L.A. is bananas. Maybe it was just 4th of July-related craziness though because that area is really pretty safe normally (compared to other L.A. areas!)
