Brisbane based Crocodilli features both jewelry and ceramics designed by founder Carly Coghill, and while the jewelry is beautiful, it’s the ceramics that really caught our eye.
The pieces in her ceramics collection are all hand modeled and painted, then glazed and adorned with gold luster detailing. Carly finds inspiration from her travels, “evoking forms and symbology from cultures around the world, while exploring vibrant color and texture” in her work. We love her take on Hamsas, and her reference to the gorgeous traditional necklaces worn by a number of African cultures, with her collar series.

These are beautiful! On my travels I have picked up so many pieces of pottery, animal figurines and textiles, but I never bring back anything for my wall, and feel like I wish I had more things like this to display. I absolutely love her collar series- I will definitely check it out- thanks for the recommendation!
