When we were in New York City back in February, we managed to squeeze in a quick little trip to ABC Carpet & Home, the almost legendary home goods shop, with six floors full of furniture, lighting, textiles, gifts, and goodies for your kitchen/table. Even if you’re not in the market for anything, the building and merchandising alone are worth a trip there! Umm, the green doors to that office? Amazing!
Even in the brief hour we were there we spotted everything from the latest Tom Dixon line, to gorgeous indigo napkins, and even fun stuff for kids. These green Kartell pendant lights would feel right at home in The Jungalow, don’t you think?
One of our favorite floors is the 6th- nothing but wall to wall (and floor to super-high ceiling) rugs! Their selection of vintage and antique rugs was bananas. Even better? From April 1st- to May 1st, they’re having a huge sale on their one-of-a-kind antique rugs (like up to 60% off huge). If you’re not in New York, you can order also order online. So, if you’ve been looking for a rug no one else will have, this might be your chance.
We’re already plotting our next visit to ABC Carpet & Home. Have you been? What was your favorite floor?
