Chaparral’s Lady Caves

Have you ever met anyone online that you just know must be really rad in person, too–and then you do meet them in person and they totally live up to your expectations? Well, that’s how I feel about Bianca D’Amico–and to be honest, it’s very refreshing, because it doesn’t always happen that way–if you know what I mean.

Bianca recently rebranded and expanded the services of her studio, now called Chaparral. 
With services that range from event design and photography to terrarium-making and jewelry, Chaparral is just about as all-over-the-place as I am–and I mean that in the best way possible. One of my favorite things about Bianca’s work is that her pieces often have a narrative arc. Her terrariums tell stories–it’s seriously so, so fun. When a couple of weeks ago I saw her Lady Caves on Instagram, I just knew I had to share them with you all here. Both because of how crystal-obsessed I am right now and because these sculptures totally made me smile. Such a simple concept–but so funny and smart–just like Bianca. Don’t you want to be that lady, chilling naked in the Lady Cave, or bathing inside a shell? I do!
