First of all, can we talk about the pink fireplace? Would you ever paint your fireplace, or the focal point in your living room, as daring a color? It’s pretty amazing, yes? OK, now that that’s outta the way–a little bit of context. Nicole Valentine Don is no stranger to this blog–I’ve blogged about her Ojos de Dios before (twice, actually) as well as her trip to Morocco. She’s even won one of my silly Pinterest Awards. Clearly, I’m a fan–so when I got an email from her seeing if I wanted to feature her (as she called it) ‘baby jungalow’ — I jumped at the chance. A fun mix of worldly-tropical-surfer-bohemian, this Australian baby jungalow is as eclectic as it is laid-back. Nicole’s textured gallery walls are a highlight for me, as are the staghorn fern in the shower, the rock collection, the colorful garland in the kitchen window, the stripey cane chairs, and..oh goodness yes that fearless fireplace.
Thank you for letting us peek into your pad, Nicole!
Got a baby jungalow of your own that you’d like to have featured on here? Email hello (at) justinablakeney (dot) com to submit photos.

Too cool. I too love the jungalow stuff you post but I haven’t reached my zen with our space/decorating right now. Maybe someday when I feel more like where I’m at is home, I’ll have some pictures to send too :D
